Our Mission
In addition to remodeling modern and older homes, we have had the joy of restoring historic homes. One of the peculiar delights of that process is experiencing the craftsmanship of a builder from 100, 200, or even 300 years ago. Their work has stood the test of time.
Our Mission is to pursue that same tradition of craftsmanship, seeking excellence in each aspect. We take as much pride in our work as you do in your home.
Our Team

Luke Conant
Owner & carpenter
Watching both his Grampa and Dad as remodelers, gave Luke an appreciation for the puzzle that is remodeling. He does have a love-hate relationship with all things “old houses”… the love likely stemming from his background in History, and the less-than-amorous feelings prompted from the difficulties of living in and fixing an 18th century house. He thoroughly enjoys helping bring people’s visions for their home to reality. In his off time, he’s usually busy at church, outside with his wife, their three kids and the dog, fixing his “fixer upper”… AGAIN, reading, fishing, or cooking.

Charlene Conant
Owner & backoffice
Ironically, the most extroverted of the whole crew, you’ll likely never meet Charlene directly. She often works behind the scenes— doing marketing, managing the financial aspects of the business, helping Luke with design (just the fun parts), and getting the next generation ready to join the workforce. Once she’s finished her main job as homeschool mom, she’s got future schemes on adding kitchen design to our offerings. She enjoys beating Luke at cribbage in her off time.

Rossby Arnott
carpenter
Rossby started with us at only 16 years old, but already with significant woodworking experience with hand tools. Although he enjoys all things to do with finish work, he especially enjoys staircases. You’ll often find him with what looks like the world’s smallest hand planer and a slight smile to accompany it. He does all his math by hand, just to keep sharp. While he’s not at work, you’ll find him working at his church, in the garden, hiking, playing piano or violin, and occasionally setting up a fireworks display for friends and family.
